Getting Started
The first step in getting started is to set up a meeting to discuss your goals and answer your questions about your project.
The initial meeting in our showroom will give you an opportunity to appreciate the fine quality of the lines of cabinetry we carry. You would need to gather information such as a budget, time frame of completed project, and your personal style and function ideas that will help us to help you to a new kitchen that is perfect for you. If this project is new construction, we need your blueprints. We can give you references and many would love to have you see their projects.
Design
The next step is to visit your home and take measurements and review the details of your project. KSA Kitchens will also assist you in selecting counter tops, faucets, sinks and any other options. To help us with the design process, we would need your appliance preferences. With all this information we can then get to work on designing and get pricing for you.
At this time, we require a non-refundable retainer that will be applied to your cabinetry order. The drawings will remain the property of KSA Kitchens until a contract is signed.
Drawings and Proposal
We will present the floor plans and elevations along with the proposal with pricing. The proposal will include pricing on cabinetry and any other options and accessories you have picked. The details and decisions will be finalized.
Next, we will set up a meeting with a (or your own) contractor at your home to go over the plans. He will give you an estimate and if you decide to use him, a contract will be signed between you and the contractor.
Contract
A meeting will be set up to sign the cabinetry contract and at this time we require a deposit of 50% of the purchase price of your cabinetry. The balance will be due upon acknowledgement from the factory that the cabinets are to be built.
In the Mean Time
The additional options you have picked (appliances, sinks, faucets, tile, countertops) will need to be ordered. KSA Kitchens can help you with these selections or you may choose them on your own. If we help you, we require a deposit on these items before we can proceed.
Delivery and Installation
We are at the site at the beginning of installation and at any other time we are needed. Once the base cabinets and appliances are installed, a template will be made for the countertop. There is usually a week or two turn around on installation.
This whole process takes a lot of co-ordination, communication and patience. Once your project is complete, it will be worth it and you will love the results!!
